These completely transformed the handling of my 1 ton dually with our 10' camper on it. With air bags to level the ride height, there was much wallowing and swaying that has been reduced to almost nothing. Yakima BowDown Rooftop Kayak Rack with Tie Down Review

I purchased two sets to carry two kayaks on our 2005 Honda CRV. They mounted easily on the factory roof rack and I secured them from theft with the optional SKS (Same Key System) locks. Loading and securing the kayaks, on their side, on the Bowdown is easy (with the use of a foot stool to reach and pull the straps over the kayak). The kayaks are very secure and we were able to travel at highway speed without concern. The racks fold and lock in the down postion when not in use, thus not having to take them off to park in our garage. I would give them five stars except when driving they whistle. I was able to isolate the whistle to the waffle configuration on the top of the racks. I highly recommend them.

Inno Easy Mount Dual Kayak Carrier with Universal Mounting System for Car, Truck, or SUV Review

This is in response to a negative review stating that it is impossible to carry two kayaks with this system because they do not stay up when stacked against each other, and it is difficult for one person to load because of the reach needed when the vertical posts are mounted to one side of the cross bars (like in the picture Amazon provides).

I feel the need to post this because this kayak rack has served me very well for carrying two 16' kayaks, and I load them by myself in a matter of minutes.

This is how you load 2 kayaks without any problems on the Inno kayak rack (to load one, just do half the work):

DO NOT PLACE TWO KAYAKS SIDE BY SIDE.

Instead, mount the two padded vertical posts in the center of your cross bars (one post on each cross bar). Place one set (quantity 2) of cradles on one side of the posts (e.g. driver side), and the other set (quantity 2) of cradles on the opposite side of the posts (i.e. passenger side).

Now you load one boat from each side of the car, making sure the cradles are properly adjusted so that when the kayak is loaded, it leans against the vertical posts (I make final adjustments with kayak on top of car). I load one boat and tie it down before I move to the opposite side to load and tie down the other - you will need a second set of tie downs with this method (system comes with only 1 set).

Note: Adjust the cradles so that the kayak is leaning against the vertical posts, this assures that it will not drop before tie down.

In other words, when both kayaks are loaded and tied down, it is a mirror image.

Do not use pictures of this system (especially on Amazon) as a guide. Instead, use a common sense approach.

By the way, to carry 3 kayaks, you WOULD need to move the vertical posts to one side and stack all 3 kayaks against each other. However, this is what makes the Inno Rack superior to J cradles or any other system. J cradles will not allow loading 3 kayaks on top of your car (unless your roof is REALLY WIDE).

2 Ton Foldable Engine Hoist Cherry Picker Crane Lift w/ 8 Ton Hydraulic Ram Review

Make no mistake, this is a large, sturdy hoist made from heavy steel tubing, which ships by truck freight. It arrives in a well-designed carton with parts held apart with blocks of Styrofoam. Everything is well thought out, but the instructions and assembly diagram are in a tiny font that's difficult to read. Many nuts and bolts are loosely inserted in the appropriate hole in the frame -- be sure to insert the small bolts for the casters at the end of the legs as illustrated, with the bolt head down otherwise the casters can't change direction.

Although the hoist is very stable front to back, and the ends of legs are about 40 inches apart, when the boom is fully extended, pay special attention to have the load centered between the legs on a line with the upright. Otherwise the hoist may tip to the side, and an uneven load will cause the casters to zoom sideways tipping the hoist and dumping the load. Picking up the load from the top, with a solid attachment to the load usually works well, for example an eye bolt on a steel strap between head bolts on a engine. Picking up a load on a pallet with straps through the pallet can be problematic however, especially if the load is not centered on the pallet.

One small quibble on design -- the single keeper loop for the jack handle doesn't work well, and allows the handle to fall through. A second keeper loop near the bottom of the upright would fix this annoyance. Overall a good design, and a good value.

DeeZee DZ 6160NB 12" Crossover Tool Box Review

Arrived today within two days of ordering the item. Mounting it to my 2012 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab took less then 15 mins. It is light which makes it nice to move around, but its too light. Time will tell how well it holds up to abuse. Also, there is a large Dee Zee logo that is on the box, and if you pull it off, it leaves 3 holes the size of quarters. I wouldn't buy again, but won't go as far to return it. Its just "Ok." If you need heavy Duty, I would at different options.
