I have other kayak towing solutions for bicycles and this is by far the most stable. Can safely tow my kayak for miles and miles. This is -the- one to get...spend the extra bucks. Took off one star for RUST. ..but that didn't stop me from purchasing a second one. Just sort of baffles me that a product made for water sports didn't think to do more to avoid the corrosive nature of water, especially salt water. Bought the second one because I of having two kayaks, two bicycles.. and friends that like to visit. :)
