So this has a little story to it. I have a 10K trailer that has a 950lbs tongue. Driving cross country from Los Angeles, CA to Nashville, TN one of the load bars broke on the road. I called Curt at 4:50pm and got a hold of one of their tech support reps. He was able to call a local rep in NM and stayed after hours to make sure i was getting taken care of. I was instructed to go to a Curt Distributor in the morning at 8am to do a warranty swap. The shop called Curt and within 20 minutes i was out the door with a whole new setup. They even paid for a local RV shop to put the new setup together for me and ship the old unit back. Now $1 our of my pocket.

My only warning to you is to keep 25% of the tongue weight available. For example.....

If you are close to the 1000lbs mark then get their new setup with round bars that has a capacity of 14K and 1,400lbs tongue load.
