Sold EXCLUSIVELY by Assured Automotive Company and their Dealers. This Assured Performance Siren can be heard blocks away with this super loud 200 watt siren system. With 7 siren tones PLUS air horn tone and PA. This kit include a 200 watt ABS Speaker(Dim:5.2''H x 8.0''W x 6.41''D (see pic. above). A Solid State Control Box (DIM: 1.5''H x 5.5''W x 6.5''D). Also included is a durable solid state microphone assembly with a crystal clear voice response. Control box has a momentary Air Horn/Siren Wail switch. Also includes switches for emergency light functions. This siren kit will work on any 12v System and draws only 5 amps. How do you hook up?? You simply connect the RED wire to a 12v source (inline fuse Included). You run the BLACK wire to a ground (or negative battery post). Kit also includes easy to read install instructions. Installer may need to purchase additional wiring. Typical install time is less than a 1 hour. Check your local laws; it may be illegal for this siren to be installed in unauthorized vehicles.

This 200 watt siren is anything but. The siren speaker that comes with this unit is rated for 200 watts but the unit puts out no where near that high. Expect to add an amplifier with this unit if you expect to get the full 200 watts out of the included speaker. The add claims that it can be heard for miles. I didn't find that exactly true. It also states in the same add that it can be heard for blocks. Two.. perhaps.
After installing this unit, I found the siren/horn momentary switch had been installed upside down. The horn is weak in volume but I contribute that to the low output of the unit. The position "wail 2" is inoperable and I would have to argue with their description of the siren sounds as labeled on the selector. Their "wail" and "yelp" are opposite of most people's understanding. Wail is usually a long wavering tone like the sound of a fire station siren and yelp is usually a quick wavering tone.

The microphone wire which connects to the front of the unit does not utilize a plug. It is routed through the front panel through a rubber grommet and flex glued in place. One day after install this glue failed and it was possible to pull mic. loose from circuit board if a small tug was applied. Luckily I noticed it and ended up disassembling unit to put a wire clamp on back side of panel so wire would not pull through when pulled. While I had the unit disassembled I fixed the "no wail2 sound problem" It seems that some (they use a lot) of the non conductive glue they use on the circuit board had gotten on the selector switch in the "wail2" position. Over $240 is overprice for the components and craftsmanship of this siren. I do not recommend.

Oh BTW. I called them and they did promptly return my call. They sent me an RMA# to return the unit for repair or replacement. I wasn't paying for shipping and felt I could repair it as well or better then the person who built it. C-
