I chose this rating because the cover is as good as advertised. I haven't had it long enough yet to determine it's durability in the elements over time. It fits like a glove and repels water almost to the point of being water proof. My IROC-Z resides outside and I needed a cover that will continue to protect it from the elements. There is no dust settling on the paint underneath the cover. I highly recommend it to those who want quality and reliability and not so much the price. I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for in most cases.
