After finding a quality 3rd-party installation video on YouTube, installing the BakFlip on my 2005 Tacoma was reasonably easy. I drilled two holes near the front of the truck bed for the drainage tubes, and the waterproof-ness is about as good as I could expect with only a few drops getting in here and there during a heavy rain. As a father of a toddler and an infant, this cover has allowed me to keep my 4-door double-cab Tacoma as our family car with two car seats in the back and plenty of storage in the bed, although I also bought a ratcheting cargo bar and cargo net to partition the bed so that items remain accessible from the tailgate.
