These are a much needed improvement for night driving. They throw out about 2-3x more light on low and the high beams are awesome. In addition to that they give the front end a much better appearance than what they came with. I've got 300k miles on the 99 SUV, the old lamps had yellowed and delaminated after 14 years of service. Had my mechanic install them, took about 45 minutes. The mechanic called me to let me know that the pin alignment was not exact, but after trying one concluded that every thing worked (Blinkers, high beams and low beams).
