Install was time consuming but the kit is of superb quality. As for the note about loosening the bed to get by the exhaust hanger I did not go thru all that grief. I simply ground off a very tiny amount of the top corner of the bracket and it slid right in to place with zero interference. Install instructions otherwise were very clear too.
