If you've been looking at these headlights, you've probably read that people are having trouble seeing at night with the low beams. This is because this set comes with a H1 halogen bulb for its low beam...which are crap. The H1 bulb is simply a low luminous bulb by nature. However, there is a solution. Spyder, Recon, etc (they are all made by Sonar) headlights mostly all have projectors and are intended for HIDs to be installed. The dust caps even have slots to run the additional wires for an HID bulb. If you plan on buying this set or anything similar, I'll put a personal guarantee that you'll be disappointed with the light output if you leave the halogens in. Get yourself a decent 4300K or 5000K HID kit (not from eBay...I recommend Morimoto), install them along with a relay harness, and the output will be 2-3 times brighter than stock. Not to mention the added cool factor of the CCFL halos and LED runners. Speaking of the LEDs, I replaced the ones that came on it with some from superbrightleds.com, which are 2x as bright and more noticeable in the daytime.
