Even though Amazon says it won't fit on a 2010 FJ, it does. The instructions could use a small tweak for this model year (and possibly those after), though.

It says to connect black wire to black wire -- but there is no black tail light wire in my 2010 FJ. Simply substitute the white wire for the black wire and you're good to go.

Also, I had to remove my cargo mat to access a additional screw (or two) to be able to pry away the side panel.

Recommended tools:
- Power drill
- 10mm deep socket attachment (regular 10mm socket won't do!)
- 12" extension for your drill attachment if you have the OEM subwoofer (it will need to be temporarily removed).

I'm far from mechanically inclined and I was able to pull off the install. I didn't know what a socket or a wrench was before installing this tail light.

It works & looks great once installed. If you have a Yellow FJ and plan on getting (or already have) black accessories like rims, bumpers, handles, etc., this color will look great. Otherwise, you may want to go with the clear or red colored housing as it'll match better with your yellow paint and silver rims/bumper accents.
