Bought online - should have bought locally. Requested that online seller deliver both racks keyed alike - a request they could not fulfill. Both racks came in with defective lock mechanisms. Fortunately Rack Solid, the local retailer where I had purchased my cross bars, re-keyed the racks alike and swapped them out when it was discovered that the locking mechanisms were defective at no charge. They told me that some of the racks in the initial shipments they had received had faulty locking mechanisms like the ones I had purchased online.

Now that the locks are functioning I can say that the racks are nice, work well, look good on my vehicle and are easy to remove if you don't want to leave them on your car. Beware of buying online until quality control improves.
