Yakima HoldUp Hitch Mount Rack 2-Bike Add-on (2-Inch Receiver Only) Review

This bike rack extension is totally bomber. It operates exactly as I was hoping it would. Holds everything from kids bikes to downhill mountain bikes to road bikes with super skinny tires. Installing the bikes on it was a breeze, except that sometimes the pedals from other bikes on the rack get in the way of the holding arm, requiring you to put a little muscle into it to squeeze the arms past the pedals.

One downside is that it's very heavy and when installed on the other rack, it's incredibly heavy without the bikes. The heavy weight though, helps hold the bikes securely in place when traveling, and that's what is important to me.

I haven't used the bottle opener yet, but it's nice to know it's there when I need it.
